Izumi

Dear Lou,
I hope that Thailand is warmer than Japan. Please hurry up and come home as I miss you dearly and have only been speaking to taxi drivers and the crazy obasan who runs the udon shop on the corner (you know the one with the great glasses and the bouffant). I can't tell if my Japanese is getting better or my English is getting worse. Either way, samishi desu yo! I miss you desu! Umai, Erai, Yasui!
Love,
Yosha

Haya-san makes me crazy! Aishiteru yo!

scum-stache

No matter how exciting or eventful the first part of my Saturday night starts out, it always goes largely undocumented...

...but, the next day, I inevitably end up with tons of pictures of foreigners with mustaches,

or sleepy first-train rides home.
